Mardi Gras is Coming…It’s that time of the year again! Actually, Mardi Gras falls anywhere between February and March here in New Orleans. This year the Final Day of Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, falls on Tuesday, February 17th. But before all the Craziness begins, or maybe it never ends, it starts a month ahead with a seemingly endless celebration of parades. And that can only mean one thing, Floats…lots of them! The Floats are where the Lucky Revelers of Mardi Gras ride on while throwing a kaleidoscope of colorful Beads and Doubloons to the wild masses. But before this can happen, the Floats need to be prepped and stored somewhere. In this quick glimpse, we see a preview of these magnificent Floats as they are hauled into the storage wharfs of the French Quarter. Bring on the Krewes!
